Chairman of Advisory Council

It is my privilege as the Chairman of Advisory Council of the Higher Education Committee to welcome the students for the forthcoming Academic year to our Institution – the Bombay Bunts Association's (BBA) Bunts Institute for Higher Education & The Bunts College for Higher Education (Night College). The primary object of BBA has been the promotion of social, educational and cultural activities among the members of our society. Keeping the need for providing quality education and with a view to provide opportunities for all round development of the student's personality, BBA decided to launch both the above Institution / College.

With the solid backing of the members of the Bunts community, the BBA has taken up the challenge and in a short span of a couple of years; it has been possible to show tremendous progress. Being involved with the establishment of Institution / College since their inception and seeing them grow has given a sense of satisfaction to all those who were involved. We can never forget the yeomen efforts of Prof K. Venkatramani, ex Registrar of Mumbai University and ex Principal of Somaiya College, Principal Dr. M.G. Shirahatti,Former Principal Lala Lajpat Rai College & Mahesh Shetty of Mahesh tutorials during the formative period.

The team comprising of office bearers of the then Higher Education Committee; Chairman- Adv. Rathnakar V. Shetty, Hon. Secretary Shri. Shridhar K. Shetty, Hon. Treasurer CA Vishwanath Shetty, worked tirelessly and no stone was left unturned to ensure that our object of establishing the Institution / College was achieved within the stipulated time frame.

I am confident that the Managing Committee and office bearers of BBA, led by our dynamic but unassuming President Adv. Subhash B. Shetty is continuing to contribute to the progress of the Institution / College and with a band of dedicated teachers and staff, well wishers and philanthropists, we will be in a position to provide quality education to ensure that the students who pass out from our Institution / College get all round exposure and opportunities so that they can equip themselves for greater roles in their lives. I am confident that the students who join our Institution / College will benefit from their journey during the formative years of their academic career. I take this opportunity to wish them success in all their endeavors.
